Started performing a couple of years ago having spent years singing in the bath/car to an exceptional standard.
First gig was the present wife’s birthday party in 2008. A nerve racking experience being heckled by one of my (best?) friends and my dad at close quarters (“bloody rubbish Mary, lets go somewhere else”)
Initially performed Elvis and Springsteen numbers
Moved on to become one of Macclesfield’s top Elvis impersonators. Entered the 2010 European Elvis competition and came nowhere.
Branched out into swing performing with the Wychwood Swing (Big) Band.
Discovered SRV and teamed up with Blues Guitarist Steve Delight (real name!) playing a host of Open Mike Nights and the occasional pub gig to tumultuous applause and a smattering of indifference.
