The Bridgewater Blues Band

About The Bridgewater Blues Band

The Bridgewater Blues Band formed in Autumn 2008 and hail from Manchester, UK. The five piece band consists of two guitars, bass, drums and vocals, and play a blistering set of fiery blues. The setlist includes serious blues numbers by Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, BB/Freddie and Albert King, Elmore James, Sonny Boy Williamson, as well as early ZZ Top, Cream and JJ Cale. This band is a must see for any blues fan. Powerful and with feeling, when listening to their versions of Sitting On Top of The World and Spoonful by Howlin' Wolf and Cream respectively, imagine being transported in a time machine back to 1967 and you get the picture of the band's sound. The band is currently gigging locally, and looking at blues festivals in the future.
